Egg Salad


INGREDIENTS:


  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)



INSTRUCTIONS:


  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard (if using). Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Add the finely chopped celery and red onion to the egg mixture. Stir to incorporate them evenly.
  • Season the egg salad with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
  • If desired, garnish the egg salad with chopped fresh parsley or chives for added flavor and a pop of color.
  • Serve the Egg Salad as a sandwich filling, on crackers, in a wrap, or as a topping for salads or lettuce cups.
